Telluride Summer, Telluride Bluegrass Festival
A street in Telluride in summer.
First time I heard Railroad Earth play Bird in a House was at the Telluride BluegrassFestival; I got all welled up inside listening to it.  Anyone with a dream who feels trapped and unable to live it out probably feels that way listening to this song.

I was living in the Springs (Colorado Springs) and, lucky for me, Railroad Earth played there a lot. They would play these tiny places and the college kids would get all sweaty, wildly dancing where there was hardly any room.  (The majority of RRE songs are uptempo and fast-dancing to them is so much fun.)

I am shooting for playing at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival one day.

"Bad Ass"  "Beautiful"  "Animated" : these are things people were telling me about our performance that night that I loved to hear.
